Change is good…
Hello, and happy first day of Autumn! My favourite season, beautiful autumn colours, crisp air, ahh blissful! So, Emma Georgeson (Brand, Graphic Design and Photography) has had a little facelift and a change of State, change is good! So I thought now would be a perfect opportunity to introduce myself and tell you all a little about me, my family and my work.
Myself, husband and two children have just relocated to Brisbane after nine amazing years of living in four different states, where we have made some amazing friends and have been lucky enough to see some truly beautiful parts of Australia. The last three and a half years were in Sydney where I loved every minute of its chaotic pace and beauty. My job, OMG I loved my job at Hornsby Shire Council which was so hard to leave. Anyway long story short, we did it, we moved and guess what? It’s actually really nice to be back in Queensland and just breathe. Life feels more chilled out back here – at the moment anyway until all the kids sports take over our life. But, we love it right!? Yes, wouldn’t change it for the world!
For almost over two decades I’ve built a successful career (gosh that sounds so old) in the design industry, helping businesses and organisations find their creative edge. With the focus on communicating efficiently and effectively with their audiences through visual materials: including images, advertising, publications, signage, and much more. I love good design in all its forms and functions, and I welcome every opportunity to help the clients and companies I work with to produce beautiful and engaging communication materials that deliver results.
When I’m not behind the computer screen, you’ll find me behind the camera lens. I love photography. I can’t overstate this enough, whether it be a family session, event or a commercial marketing shoot at a childcare centre, I just love it.
Information overload but it was about time I introduced myself properly. If you have a design or photography project coming up please get in touch.
